Christians Stance on
Christian will fight for a better future not only for House District 22 but for all Texans.
I understand the importance of public education, as a proud product of Port Arthur ISD. He will be a champion for HD-22 schools, using relationships I have built at the Texas Capitol to fight for our schools. I will work to ensure our children and their parents receive the best resources available, so our kids can be successful.
I am a loyal advocate for ALL children, especially those students with learning disabilities. As someone with dyslexia, I know firsthand how crucial access to specialized learning can be for kids with learning disabilities. The State must fund special education programs, teachers and support staff because ALL children deserve a great public education.
Currently, MILLIONS of Texans- adults and children alike- either have no insurance or are underinsured. As the fastest-growing state, it is unacceptable to have Texans go without healthcare coverage. I have worked on these issues for years as Chief of Staff, and have knowledge and understanding of how we can expand healthcare in Texas. We need leaders who are creative and hardworking, so we can ensure millions of Texans, including people right here in our community, get healthcare coverage. I promise to be your voice fighting for healthcare at the Capitol.
Flood Mitigation & Coastal Resiliency
As a 3rd Generation resident of Port Arthur, I know how important flood mitigation is to protecting our homes, community, and our resources. I will make sure our flood infrastructure is fully funded and our local governments are receiving their share from the State so they can keep our communities protected from future storms.
I will work to bring innovative solutions to HD-22, such as a coastal spine that will protect our neighborhoods and natural areas from powerful storm surges. I will fight for investment in coastal resilience. We need bold leaders who are working now to protect us from future storms; I promise to make flood mitigation and coastal resiliency a priority.
